The Teacher’s Association of the Monmouth Beach School has an exciting community service project to share with you.
In our effort to promote literacy and the love of reading, we have built a Little Free Library. As you might be aware, Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that supports the worldwide movement to offer free books housed in small containers to members of the local community. We are eager to see our Little Free Library up and running, but first we must collect books to fill our container. We will be asking our current 8th graders to be the first students to fill our Little Free Library by donating books, leveled from pre-school to adult, and dropping them off in the boxes outside the front office in school. The boxes will be ready to be filled on Monday, May 8th. We are hopeful that the Little Free Library structure will be installed by May 13th, in time for the PTO Run!
