Michael Ettore earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Villanova University in 1988 and then returned to school to earn his Elementary Teaching credentials from Kean University in 1991. Ultimately, Mr. Ettore pursued his graduate studies at Monmouth University where he earned a Master of Science in Educational Administration Degree in 2001. Mr. Ettore’s professional certificates include Elementary Teacher, Principal, Supervisor, and Chief School Administrator.
Before coming to Monmouth Beach in July 2013 to serve as the Superintendent/Principal, Mr. Ettore spent nine years as an Elementary Principal in Marlboro and Holmdel. Mr. Ettore started his administrative career in his hometown of Freehold Township where he spent three years as an Elementary Assistant Principal. Prior to entering the world of administration, Mr. Ettore spent thirteen years as a classroom teacher, ten of which were serving the Little Silver School District as a middle school math teacher and girls basketball coach.
Mr. Ettore is a career educator who has dedicated his entire professional career to the importance of building quality relationships between teachers, students and families. He understands the potential impact that teachers can and should have on students and stresses the need for his staff to establish meaningful connections with the children that come to school every day. Mr. Ettore firmly believes that effort and a positive attitude are the necessary ingredients for a successful educational experience.
